<text>During the running years for the campaign election of 1956-1960, Adlai Stevenson created a pin, which is the shape of a shoe with a small hole like cutting in the middle of the shoe, which represents the idea that Adlai Stevenson is not like the common man. Many were to believe that most presidents and/or candidates were to have the ideal nice suit, shoes, ties, etc., but like Adlai, he showed a different side of himself. There is a picture of Adlai Stevenson showing how Adlai had his feet placed on top of his desk and there seemed to be a hole in his shoe. When people saw this image, they viewed Adlai Stevenson as a different man, who was a man for the people. By having the hole in his shoe, pins were created for the campaign election of 1956. </text>
